This drum is from a very prolific and discerning collector of vintage American drums. This drum is complete and original except heads. Our understanding is that the Leedy Elite Broadway would have been made during the early 1930s and this particular example is engraved with the Thunderbird Pattern and is outfitted with the single snare strainer mechanism which functions perfectly. The strainer is functional and the very light playing we've done with her sounds incredible. The tone muffler mechanism functions smoothly.
