One original owner who purchased this kit and played them his whole life. Bought in 1966 in New York. Gretsch Progressive Jazz (20/12/14/14) complete original kit with snare in gorgeous Yellow Satin Flame. What a gem!
The snare even has the original drum key and Gretsch snare wires, as pictured. Comes with the original Gretsch bass drum pedal, snare stand, hi hat stand and one cymbal stand pictured. The stands do exhibit some expected corrosion, but the bass drum pedal and hi hat stand still work buttery smooth.
The kit is in fantastic overall vintage condition; there exists the typical cracking of the satin flame wrap, but the lugs and hoops are great, everything is there and originaland the kit looks gorgeous, tunes, and sounds wonderful. A real piece of Gretsch history!
