At the time of release of the Pearl BLX Series, it was the top-of-the-line Birch kit Pearl made. The BLX and MLX lines have stood the test of time and remain a higher shell build quality than many modern shells. This specimen is complete and original and sounds wonderful.

There are typical scratches and flaking in the lacquer. The top of the bass drum has a typical slight fade which was hard to capture in pictures. Overall this kit looks and sounds wonderful. It would make a fine studio or gigging rig. Please be sure to listen to the audio/video demo in this link.
